Maître Salvatrice Bahindwa Bahati holds a law degree from the Protestant University of Congo, as well as a university certificate in Executive master in business management and company law from HEC Management School –University of Liege. She has built a wealth of experience in land and real estate law, labour and employment law, business law, civil liability law and contract law related matters.
 
  • Attorney-at-law and Member of the Kinshasa-Matete Bar since 2014, 
  • and of the Tanganyika Bar since 2018;
  • Contributor for the Democratic Republic of Congo to the World Bank’s Doing Business report;
  • Member of the editorial team of Codes Larcier of the Democratic Republic of Congo, online;
  • Board Member of Credda (Centre for Research and Studies 
  • on the Development of the Law in Africa).
 
Maître Bahindwa Bahati has acquired extensive knowledge of the DRC legal and regulatory framework through her work as Deputy Legislative Counsel in the Good Governance Programme funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and implemented by DAI (Development Alternatives Inc.). She is involved in the natural resources and energy law team, in due diligence assignments, as well as in litigation involving Étude Kabinda’s clients in the labour law framework within the judicial law department.
